A huge welcome to our two new teachers that will be in Room 19 each Thursday. Miss Huband and Miss Hughes, we are so pleased to have you in our room.

Hi I'm Cadi
Last weekend I took Wilson home and I took great care of him. I took him to ballet and we saw Esmee there. Wilson said we were fantastic dancers. At lunch time he kept looking at Dylan's hotdog. I think he wanted a bite but Dylan scoffed it because loves hotdogs. He watched me swim and went for a ride on Dylan's skateboard. Wilson had so much fun with our family I know he wants to come back for visit real soon. I wonder who will have him next............

 This term we have been doing lots of art to make our room look fabulous. We wrote stories about Tu tangata. We think it means to stand up tall and do our best work. We have completed some cool paintings about Tu tangata. Come to Room 19 and check it out

 We have been learning to say our name in maori. First we ask Ko wai to ingoa? What is your name?

Finally we are making a beautiful ALPHABET TREE. Each we  add something that begins with the letter of the week. We have A for apple, B for butterfly and C for caterpillar. I wonder what we will do for the letter D? Watch this space for next weeks addition.

Hi My name is Wilson and this is my buddy Big Ted. Big Ted lives with Mrs Ward. I live in Room 19. I LOVE Room 19. This term we are learning about Hukanui Whanau. (What our school and school family mean to us). So far I know we have a school motto which is Tu Tangata or Stand Tall. Also that we have 5 values, REPECT, INDIVIDUALITY, INTEGRITY, COOPERATION and EXCELLENCE that we practice at our school. If we practice these values we get a voucher that puts us in the draw for neat prizes. I help Mrs Ward by looking out for great children that are working hard so she can give them a values voucher. I have seen lots of awesome children in Room 19. Also I am so special because I get to go home with someone each Friday. Last week I went with Oli. I had a fabulous time. Oli really took great care of me. He is now my special friend.I wonder who I will go home with tomorrow.............
