After their item, the children will be seated in a backstage room. This is where we will stay for the remainder of the show. Your child is welcome to bring along reading books, colouring books, or any other games that they can enjoy quietly. Please ensure that these are named and kept in a named bag.

We will be having rehearsals in week 9, one of which will be a full dress rehearsal at the theatre If you haven’t signed and sent back the bus permission slip please do so.

We ask that your child please wear the following as part of their costume:
Costume requirements: For sharks  and submarine
Black shirt and black trouser/pants.

Please send these to school in a named bag by Monday 23 September so we can have dress rehearsals in class.

Please ensure your child arrives wearing this clothing on the night of the production so we can easily and quickly fit their costume pieces.

Please do not hesitate to ask the classroom teacher if you have any further questions.

Thursday 19 September 2013

On Wednesday we decided to go on an adventure in our gully. It was a beautiful day as set off down the steep track.
When we were in the gully we looked for frog and native birds. We heard lots of interesting sounds and saw amazing plants.
Some of us thought we saw a crocodile living under the bridge.
We also are doing our speeches. This week we learnt to ask "kei te pehÄ“a tera?" How was that?

Some of us were amaimai -nervous.
